Turnover increase of 18% for third quarter of 2007
Noisy-le-Grand, 25 October 2007 – Staff&Line, a major player in IT Management, reported sales of 2.5 million euros for the third quarter of 2007 (From the 1st July to the 30th September 2007), an increase of 18% compared to the third quarter of the 2006 financial year.
This change results from a very strong increase in sales of licences, which increased by more than 50% compared to the same quarter of the previous year. For this third quarter this activity represents 47% of turnover. Staff&Line profitability is essentially linked with the increase in sales of licences.
During this quarter, significant contracts were signed following partial recovery of delays to orders in the second quarter. The success of the EasyVista offer, driven by the new standards (ISO 20000, ITIL v3), whose concepts and recommendations are included in the new version of the software.
In this context, Apria R.S.A., an organisation managing three compulsory health insurance regimes and services (2.2 million of persons), selected EasyVista for its ability to cover all ITIL processes in a single unique solution as part of the convergence of two Service Desk platforms. Additionally, Mandadori France, a major print magazine group in the hexagon, selected EasyVista for its ITIL compliance project.
Training and skill transfer efforts in the United Kingdom are starting to bear fruit. In fact Azzurri, a worldwide supplier of Voice/Data communication solutions and quality of service specialist, has selected EasyVista to automate the management of its Service Desk and information systems at a dozen locations in the country. The “all in one” aspect of EasyVista and its native integration of good ITIL practices have largely won the support of the Azzurri teams in the face of a dozen international competitors.
Despite a remarkable increase in licence sales, the turnover of Staff&Line has been impacted by a reduction in inventory service activity for the installed systems of subsidiaries acquired in 2006. The organisation set up is based on a mixed model comprising 2 business units: EasyVista software sales and historic installed system inventory service activity.
This non-strategic activity for Staff&Line, which represented more than 20% of turnover in 2006, has experienced a marked degradation arising from the new marketing image of the acquired companies and intensive competition in the service market. This reduction in the installed system inventory service activity thus penalises the global growth of the Group.
The turnover for the first nine months of the year was 7.5 million euros against 6.5 million euros for the same period in 2006, which is an increase of 15.5%.
Sylvain Gauthier, Chief Executive Office declared: “The increase in licence sales in the third quarter proves our position as an essential player in the IT Management market and confirms our EasyVista product as the main source of growth in Europe”.
