A true IT service solution, EasyVista 2007 manages the complete IT infrastructure, including all user requests using a unique modular approach. This third generation, 100 percent web-based, ITIL compatible product includes over 140 ergonomic, technical and functional advances, notably in financial management and reporting for assets and also a new configuration management module.

So What’s New ?
The release of EasyVista 2007 is the most significant event in Staff&Line’s calendar this year. This modular solution helps organisations to achieve best practice in IT management. One of the main enhancements to the latest version is a new Configuration Management Database module (CMDB). The CMDB supplies a logical model of the infrastructure by identifying, controlling, maintaining, updating and verifying the versions of the existing configuration elements. It offers a dynamic representation, on the same diagram, of CIs, incidents and attached requests, and availability. It also allows impact studies to be performed while the information system is being modified. Groups impacted by an incident are automatically identified and this ensures efficient and targeted communications.
This CMDB module comes standard with the EasyVista’s Service Management and Asset Management modules. EasyVista Asset Management automatically updates the CMDB ; EasyVista Service Management anticipates incidents and automates their processing.
EasyVista configuration management is one of the processes for which compatibility with ITIL recommendations has been certified by PinkElephant, an independent validation organisation which certifies the compatibility of IT Management tools with ITIL standards.

EasyVista 2007 is more than just a database which simply lists infrastructure elements, it allows complete financial management of assets, providing an integrated view of the whole IT asset purchasing cycle – from purchase order through to delivery.
